Artists: Francesco Balsamo, Federico Baronello, Barbara Cammarata, Ignazio Cusimano Schifano, Emanuele Giuffrida, Francesco Lauretta, Gianni Mania, Carmelo Nicosia, Rossana Taormina, Sasha Vinci, William Marc Zanghi, and Zoe Zizola.

Represented by the galleries involved in the project, these artists present works spanning painting, photography, and installation, creating a rich mosaic of artistic languages and perspectives.
A distinctive feature of this inaugural edition is a special section devoted to sketches and preparatory works by Abusi Studio, the multidisciplinary practice that explores the relationship between human beings and space through innovative approaches, including recycling and circular economy principles.
Qui Sud Est is an exhibition without boundaries: it imposes neither thematic nor dimensional constraints, allowing each artist to freely articulate their lived and professional experience of this fascinating part of Sicily. As Giuseppe Lo Magno explains, “the idea for the exhibition emerged from a reflection on the personal experience of social networking that I engage in every day—a practice that has become more than ever fundamental to the work of a gallery, while simultaneously extending beyond its professional boundaries, encompassing the values of friendship and mutual respect that exist among the artists and gallerists of the region. Over time, these relationships, independently of any professional agreements, have become part of a single, broader reality: Qui Sud Est.”
Gianluca Collica further describes the project as an example of collaborative curatorial and organisational practice: “In recent years, the desire to build together has grown increasingly strong, and this exhibition is an example of shared planning among artists and gallerists from south-eastern Sicily. The invisibility of peripheral contexts such as Sicily can only be overcome by moving forward side by side, united by a common objective: to work together and bring visibility to the quality of what we produce.”
